Former Sen. Joe Manchin, campaigning with Sen. Susan Collins in Maine, said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is "crazy" to try to unseat her.
Former Sen. Joe Manchin (I-W.Va.) said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is "crazy" for working to defeat Sen. Susan Collins (R) in this year's Maine Senate race.
Fox News reports Manchin joined Collins on the campaign trail in Lewiston. The Hill, citing a clip, quotes him as speaking on Wednesday.
According to The Hill, Manchin said he told Schumer the same thing in 2020, when Schumer also worked against Collins. Manchin said Schumer is wrong to do it again now.
