Titans release Jordan Elliott after reported practice altercation with JC Latham
The Tennessee Titans released defensive lineman Jordan Elliott on Tuesday, and outlets report he went to his car for a gun after a practice scuffle with JC Latham, which the team has not confirmed.
The Tennessee Titans released defensive lineman Jordan Elliott on Tuesday, days after the team's first win of the NFL season. Fox News reports the release followed an incident at the team facility.
The Guardian, citing multiple reports from A to Z Sports and KPRC2, says Elliott had an altercation with right tackle JC Latham in practice last Thursday. He was ordered off the field. He then reportedly removed his pads, left the building and walked to the players' parking lot, where security cameras recorded him. The reports say he went to his car to retrieve a gun.
The Titans have not confirmed or denied the reports about a firearm, according to The Guardian.
Fox News also reports that Alontae Taylor was made inactive for reasons that were not explained.
