MS NOW corrects report that FBI Director Patel was in Russia
MS NOW issued a correction after reporting that FBI Director Kash Patel had arrived in Russia; the FBI says he was at an event in Virginia.
MS NOW has corrected a report that FBI Director Kash Patel had arrived in Russia. The FBI says he was in Virginia, at Liberty University, according to Fox News.
The Hill reports the network aired the claim on its weekday morning show "State of Play" with Peter Alexander. The report said Patel had travelled to Russia for a meeting on Tuesday. It cited two people familiar with the matter. MS NOW was formerly known as MSNBC.
The FBI disputed the report and posted video of the Virginia event, The Hill reports. Fox News says the bureau also mocked the network over the error.
