The Joint List, Israel's largest Arab party grouping, said it will recommend opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot to form the next government after last week's election.
Israel's largest Arab party grouping, the Joint List, said it will recommend opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot to form the next government. France 24 reported the announcement came on Thursday.
Arab-led parties won a record 19 seats in the 120-seat parliament in last week's general election, according to Al Jazeera. France 24 describes them as Arab-majority lists and says the same total.
France 24 says the endorsement could strengthen Eisenkot's bid to form a government.
