Fox News reports the officers spotted the claws on an X-ray. It says they looked like the Wolverine claws from the comics and films. Fox News also reports the officers called it the most unusual item they had found in two years.

CBS News describes the items as "mutant blades" and says they looked like something from a comic book or horror film.

The reports do not say who owned the bag, whether anyone was cited or charged, or what happened to the blades.
